buncol For some time now, a different type of humor has started to make me laugh.
I am terribly amused now such trolling humor + entering such strange conversations from which nothing comes. It's almost artistic in a way, hehe.
I found that it is amazing to manipulate people with this method.
At work, for example, a tester calls me with an analyst to discuss how to do something. At this point, when he shows me, it also shows a few other additional features throughout this path. At this point, I notice some inaccuracy in this functionality and I inquire about it. They explain that this is how it works now, and I say: okay, but when the input was like this, it would work differently, so it's not like you say for every case. And so we continue this conversation, they do not even see how they have already wasted a lot of time talking about something completely different, hehe, and I have the impression that I could continue it like this and slowly move on to talking about completely non-work-related topics and WHAT'S THE BEST - they wouldn't see it as a waste of time, they wouldn't even think that since they're at work, you can't talk about it. Do you know why? Because in a way it is a developing conversation, and when a person feels that he is developing intellectually in a given conversation, he feels as if he is working, EVEN IF HIS RIGHT RESPONSIBILITIES DO NOT APPLY TO THE SUBJECTS.
In general, this is an interesting spectrum, and I have trolled clients in this way more than once as a programmer hehe. In my previous-previous job, I worked with such a guy, CEO of a certain CRM, and actually I was able to talk with him for a few hours about the abstract possibilities of something else, assuming something else, with hypothetical assumptions that they would introduce some new technological possibilities, etc. Hehe, it is so sublime trolling.
